Who we are

Million Dollar Services is operated by FIVESMITHS LIMITED, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 13985094), whose registered office is at One Central Square, Central Square, Cardiff, CF10 1FS. We are the data controller for the personal data described here.

What we collect, and when

The only personal data we collect is what you give us when you join a waitlist. If you never submit a form, we do not collect anything about you.

When you join a waitlist we store:

Your email address

So we can tell you when the thing you asked about is available.

Which waitlist

The playbook, tool, course or book you signed up from, so we only email you about that.

Date and time

A record of when you gave consent.

A shortened IP address and country

Truncated so it does not identify your device. Kept as evidence of consent and to stop automated abuse of the form.

Your browser's user agent

The same two reasons.

Cookies and analytics

The waitlist form sets no cookies. We use Google Analytics 4to see which pages are read and where visitors arrive from. It collects pseudonymous usage data: pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, and the referring site. It does not collect your name or email address, and Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses.

Analytics runs only if you accept it in the banner shown on your first visit. Until you do, no analytics cookie is set (Google’s Consent Mode v2 holds analytics_storageat denied). If you accept, Google sets the cookies _ga and_ga_*, which persist for up to two years, and we rely on your consent as the lawful basis. You can change your choice at any time via “Cookie settings” in the footer, or block Google Analytics withGoogle’s opt-out browser add-on.

Google LLC processes this data on our behalf under Google’s data processing terms. Data may be transferred to the United States under the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Reports are retained in Google Analytics for the period set on the property (14 months by default). Google’s own privacy policy is atpolicies.google.com/privacy.

Why we are allowed to hold it

Our lawful basis is your consent, given when you submit the form. Because we are sending marketing email, the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations apply as well, and they require consent too.

You can withdraw it whenever you like, with the unsubscribe link in any email we send, or by emailing privacy@milliondollarservices.com. Withdrawing is as easy as giving it, and does not affect anything we sent beforehand.

What we use it for

Only to tell you when something launches. We do not profile you, we do not make automated decisions about you, and we will never sell or rent your details or share them for anyone else's marketing.

Who else processes it

We use two suppliers, each acting on our instructions under a data processing agreement:

• Cloudflare — hosts the site and stores the waitlist.
• Resend — sends the emails.

Both may process data outside the UK. Where they do, the transfer relies on the safeguards in their standard data processing terms, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.

Our newsletter is published on Substack. If you follow a link and subscribe there, Substack collects your data under its own privacy policy, and we do not control that. A waitlist signup here does not subscribe you there.

How long we keep it

Until you unsubscribe, or until the waitlist you joined has served its purpose and the thing has launched. After that we delete the record within twelve months. If you unsubscribe we keep a minimal record of the fact, so we do not email you again by mistake.

Your rights

Under the UK GDPR you can ask us to:

• give you a copy of the data we hold about you
• correct it if it is wrong
• delete it
• restrict or object to how we use it
• send it to you, or another provider, in a portable format

Email privacy@milliondollarservices.com and we will respond within one month. There is no charge.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office atico.org.uk, or on 0303 123 1113.

Changes

If we change this notice we will update the date at the top. If a change materially affects how we use data you have already given us, we will email you first.
